Cellular giant Verizon unveils Los Angeles to take advantage of its 5G speeds by the end of the year. Los Angles follows behind Sacramento as Executive Chief Lowell McAdam confirmed the news with CNBC. Reporting that the high-speeds should be in effect by the end of the year.
“We’ll have 1,000 cell sites up and operating on the global standard,”
AT&T also announced cities earlier this year to follow suit. Although the faster speeds will be coming into existence mobile users won’t be able to access the features on set devices until 2019 when cellular devices are fully equipped for the feature. This leaves the market open as these companies race to create a more efficient phone service.
